Which GoPros are compatible with AER?
There are currently three different versions of AER available:
AER for GoPro HERO 4-7
AER for GoPro HERO 4-8
AER for GoPro HERO 4-9
AER for GoPro HERO 4-10
All versions are backwards compatible with the older GoPro models. None of the AERs is compatible with the HERO 7 Silver and White Edition or the 'Max Lens Mod'.
Can you ship the AER to my place?
Of course, we offer worldwide shipping!
NOTE: Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, delivery is restricted/delayed in some countries. If you are unsure about your situation, get in touch with us. We'll do our best to get an AER to you, if the situation allows.
Where do you ship from?
All AERs are produced in and shipped from Germany.
How much does shipping cost to my country?
Shipping fees depend on the weight and destination of your individual order. Since we are shipping worldwide there are thousands of possible combinations. In order to calculate your individual rate, simply add the desired products to your cart and go to shop.aervideo.com/cart. There, you will be able to estimate the shipping cost based on your country and ZIP code.
What about customs fees?
Depending on the country of destination custom fees might be levied at a later stage. Russia, India, and Switzerland, for instance, are prone to charging additional fees. But please make sure to check the value limit for your country specifically.
How long does shipping take?
It depends: Within Germany usually just a couple of days. In the EU we are able to provide an AER between one or two weeks. Shipping to countries outside of Europe take from two up to four weeks. All packages are send with track & trace, but please notice that we aren’t able to guarantee any delivery times since local carriers of each particular country differ greatly. We label each shipping box with the appropriate customs forms, but nevertheless customs are prone to intervene in the shipping process. Especially in countries like: Russia, India or South Africa.
Can I ship it back?
Of course, as long as the AER is in mint condition. Simply send it to the following address and we will refund the purchase.

Please make sure to choose a traceable shipping service and, in case you are located outside of the EU, attach a customs form (CN-22) to your parcel. Furthermore, please declare your parcel as "return" or "gift" so that no custom duties are incurred by the return of your product.
How do I start a burst or video once the GoPro is in the AER head?
Voicecontrol for the win! Simple say “GoPro, start Burst!” or “GoPro, start/stop Video” and the GoPro will take care of the rest. (HERO 5 and newer)
I seem to have blocked corners in my photos, what’s up with that?
This can happen when the GoPro slides back inside the head during flight. Make sure to use the 'Spacer' to fixate the GoPro.
Does the AER float?
Sure thing! Thanks to the lightweight foam material, AER is buoyant and floats on the surface. Have fun at the beach.
